Introducing KURA THE WHISKY

Helios Distillery’s KURA THE WHISKY is a carefully crafted blend of selected Scotch whisky sourced through our partner in Scotland and whisky distilled at our own distillery.

The blend is then given an additional period of maturation in specially selected casks, allowing it to develop layers of cask-derived aromas and flavors that add depth and character to the whisky.

In this feature, we introduce two distinctive cask finishes from the KURA THE WHISKY range, each matured in a different type of cask to bring out its own unique character.

Sherry Cask Finish

To achieve the ideal flavor profile, the Oloroso sherry casks used for the Sherry Cask Finish were personally selected in Spain by the chairman of Helios Distillery.

Enjoy a rich, layered flavor that combines the whisky’s original character with the distinctive aromas and flavors imparted by sherry casks.

Rum Cask Finish

The Rum Cask Finish is matured in casks that once held rum—a spirit deeply rooted in Helios Distillery’s history.

Its distinctive character lies in the subtle sweetness and gentle aromas of rum that emerge beneath the whisky’s smoky notes.

Rum casks are considered rare in the global market. By making the most of their unique characteristics, Helios Distillery has created a distinctive whisky finish made possible by its own rum-making expertise.
