Made using the traditional methods of awamori production, KURA CASK STRENGTH is crafted from the unblended spirit of KURA and aged for more than 18 years in specially selected American white oak casks. Each bottle comes from a single cask, making this a true single-cask, cask-strength awamori.
From our limited stocks of rare 18-year-aged spirit, we carefully selected a cask with a natural strength of 40% ABV for bottling. It is bottled without adding water, preserving the character of the spirit at cask strength (excluding extractives).
The result is a complex and layered flavor that combines the rich depth and full-bodied character of aged awamori with elegant oak-derived notes reminiscent of a fine single malt whisky.
