Meet “Hydra”—a dangerously delicious snake-infused rum unlike anything you’ve ever tasted!

HELIOS Distillery has long been known for Uruma, our signature rum infused with Habu, and Kairyu, made with the Irabu sea snake (known locally in Okinawa as Irabu). Now, we’ve taken things even further by adding Mamushi to create Hydra—a one-of-a-kind rum infused with all three snakes.

Habu and Irabu alone make for an extraordinary combination, so adding Mamushi takes it to a whole new level. It certainly looks like it has some incredible power… We can’t quite explain it—but it definitely feels like something special! 😳

While traditional Habu-zake is typically made with Awamori, HELIOS Distillery crafts its snake-infused spirits using Okinawan rum, creating a smoother and more approachable flavor. Hydra is further infused with a selection of aromatic Okinawan herbs, including Karaki (Okinawan cinnamon), lemongrass, and Hama-machi (Ryukyu mugwort), resulting in a rich and distinctive taste.
